Your local ADK Chapter is run by a volunteer board who is elected by the chapter members yearly in November. The current 2021-2022 board consists of;
President - Richard (Dick) Osborne
Dick took up fly fishing when he moved to Upstate NY 35 years ago. Before becoming president of the Adirodack Chapter, he was active on the board for fifteen years and has served as Treasurer and VP.

John Braico
John is the founder of the ADK Chapter (1983) and has served continuously ever since. Six years later he joined TU's NY State Council, advocating for wild brook trout pond restorations. In 1995 started his journey in the study of trout stream "mechanics" making him a true expert in stream dynamics. In 2018 John led the launch the Battenkill Home Rivers Initiative with a number of local partners.
Greg Cooper
Greg grew up fishing the Fiingerlakes region of NY, later taking up flyfishing in the ADK region. Greg has been on the ADK TU board for 5 years helping with communications through our Facebook page and this web page.
Mike Hoffman
Mike has been active on the TU board for 8 years, and a member for the 30 years. Self taught fly fisher grew up fishing in SE Minnesota, now loves ADK waters. Still trying to perfect his cast.... It's not about the fish.
Jon Mackle
Jon, a native of N.E. Pennsylvania and a Vietnam era veteran of the U.S. Navy, is a 1969 graduate of Penn State University. He subsequently attended Cornell's graduate school of Industrial and Labor relations from which he embarked on a career with the National Labor Relations Board. An avid, lifelong outdoors person and conservationist he has been a member of Trout Unlimited for over 50 years and is a founding year member of the Adirondack Chapter. He currently serves as the Chapter's Trout in the Classroom coordinator.
